VER means root. For us, that means staying grounded in three things: craft you can feel, choices you can see, and materials picked for comfort and repeat wear. We're a husband and wife team in California. We wanted apparel that was designed thoughtfully — premium materials, prints with a point of view, and construction that actually showed up on the inside of the garment.
Why we built it.
Most of what we found in our price range was either poorly made or forgettable. And the brands that did have a point of view often priced themselves out of practical reach, or made claims they couldn't back up.
We wanted something in between: genuinely premium fabrics and original prints, at a price that makes sense for everyday wear. Not heirlooms. Not fast fashion. Something you wear until it wears out, and then buy again.
We built VER STUDIO to fill that gap — starting with two people we knew best. Men and kids.

How we work with our partners.
We work with workshops across India that we've verified ourselves. Not audited by a third party — we don't have that yet, and we won't say we do. What we have is direct relationships with the people who make our products, and an internal checklist we've built to verify conditions and practices.
Our partners include women-led workshops and women-led workforces. That's a fact, not a slogan.
We keep drops small so that the work stays intentional and the quantities stay honest. We're not trying to move volume. We're trying to build something that earns trust over time.
Why limited drops.
Every piece in a drop is a deliberate choice — fabric, print, construction, price. A small drop means we can be specific about every one of those decisions and not cut corners under production pressure.
When a drop sells out, it's done. The next one will be different. That keeps the assortment fresh and prevents the pile of unsold inventory that most fashion brands quietly live with.
The Remnant Series.
Cutting fabric creates off-cuts. Every production run has them. The obvious move is disposal. We asked our workshop partners to set those off-cuts aside instead.
The same people who sewed your apparel cut and sewed the Remnant Buddies from what was left. Same cotton. Same finish standards. We're not claiming zero waste. We're saying: this felt like the more useful choice.
